The Mini Club
The Mini Club was created for our stray puppies, but sadly, due to slow adoption rates,
this group has grown from puppyhood to adolescence.
Meet the gang below!
Agata
Gender: Female
Birthday: May 2023
Shoulder height: 57cm Agata is initially afraid of new things, but her curiosity helps her overcome her fears quickly. A new person? Give her a little time to assess them. Someone taking pictures of her with a scary black box? Let her get to know them first so they can capture her best side! Once she knows you, she will seek you out and trust your guidance in situations that scare her.

Teddy
Shoulder height: 70cm Teddy is a gentle and handsome boy who doesn’t realize he’s bigger than the rest of the Mini Club. Sadly, Teddy spent three months in a kennel at the vet before coming to live with us. During that time, he likely had negative experiences with hands, making him fearful of hands approaching him. He didn't know the joy of a good cuddle. Despite this, Teddy seeked out the volunteers and loves treats! Teddy will need some time to adjust in his new home, but we are confident that he will warm up to you quickly. As you can see in the videos, he has already overcome much of his fear of being touched and continues to make progress every day.

Moana
Gender: Female
Birthday: January 2023
Shoulder height: 48cm Moana is a classic Husky—she'll let you and other dogs know vocally if something bothers her or if she sees the ocean and you're taking too long to get moving. She still pulls on the leash, but with treats and consistency, she'll improve quickly. Moana would thrive in a home with a cooler climate, more suited to her Husky nature than the warm temperatures of Santorini.

Bambi
The tiny English Pointer girl we named Bambi and she is only around 6 months old and probably has been fending for herself in the streets for a while....

Luna
Luna weighs around 13 kg and is very friendly

Nounou
Gender: Female
Birthday: May 2023
Nounou and Faedra lived on the street between Fira and Oia. Tourists and locals kept feeding them. Nounou was hit by a car, taken to the vet where she was operated and neutered. Because Nounou and Faedra are so close to each other, Christina was asked to take them both in. Nounou's leg still needs to be spared (unfortunately it is still not in a good condition). Both are very affectionate, want to be with people and are very friendly.

Alva
Her litter consisted of 11 puppies that were abandoned on the beach road. Since we were at capacity, we quickly constructed another puppy pen, even without a proper door, and took in 6 of the puppies. The remaining 5 were taken in by the State Shelter. Alva and her sister Aisha are the last of the litter. They have grown very close and are always together. We believe Alva would benefit from having another dog in her new home, as she is accustomed to her sister's company. She is shy with the volunteers, but with time, she will learn that humans can be just as fun as other dogs.

Kara, Knox, Kali, Kodiak, Kastor and Kairo are guardian mixes.
Unlike many guardian dogs, these siblings have no apprehension about strangers. They love attention and cuddles. Every day, they walk to the beach in a large group without any issues with the other dogs. However, since we can only go on one walk a day, these younglings often get bored and are eager for a life filled with new challenges.
