Sweet little Jimmywas born in July 2023 and is an absolutely wonderful medium-sized guy weighing about 15 kg. He is a happy and easy-going dog who loves to play with his friends and enjoys the walks to the beach, and of course it is especially fun to run loose with the other dogs of the same age. Jimmy's brother already found his forever family and we hope that Jimmy will soon have his own home as well

He is a Labrador mix boy weighing approximately 15 kg. Holmes and his 6 siblings were taken care of when they were only 4 weeks old and initially lived in a foster home before coming to the shelter. It's truly time for Holmes to find his own family. He is an incredibly friendly dog who gets along well with everyone.

The seven sweet puppies were born from their mom in a hotel complex. Unfortunately, she didn't stay with them for very long, and the exact reasons are unknown to us. That's how these little treasures came to our animal shelter. They have thrived, are all incredibly friendly and lively. Typical of puppies, their favorite activities include playing, cuddling, and bringing the pack to life. Unfortunately, the neutering procedure didn't go as planned, because since the surgery, he hasn't been walking as smoothly as he used to. However, other than that, he is perfectly fine! We are confident that with some physical therapy, he will be able to walk normally again.

He was found collapsed by the side of a busy road. A man stopped, picked him up and brought him to us. He was probably born by a wild mother and lost his way. The first couple of days he was really cautious of us but very soon growing with his new companions of similar age in the puppy kindergarten he changed towards the opposite direction! He loves to swim in the ocean.

He is a Labrador mix boy weighing between 15-20 kg. He and his 6 siblings were taken care of when they were only 4 weeks old and initially lived in a foster home before coming to the shelter. Hatchy is truly a super cozy boy who plays with his buddies and loves to socialize with people. If you want a really happy new family member, then Hatchy is the dog for you.

He arrived at the shelter when he was 2,5 months old. He is easygoing, playful, and incredibly friendly with everyone.
Tiger Lilly puppies
In May we received many reports from visitors on the island that had encountered an emancipated female mother dog who we named Tiger Lilly, begging for food at the Red Beach. Her babies were nowhere to be seen and removing her from the area would definitely be their end. And then a crate arrived at the shelter with 7 puppies barely 5 weeks old and mum could be only one! Another mission started to find the mum who had mysteriously vanished. Finally she was discovered hiding in a small cavern quite injured on the head and the reunion was so heartwarming Just a couple of hours later someone entered the shelter dropped a sac with 3 puppies and disappeared. So there we were with a newly finished dog area just the same morning, meant for some of the shelter dogs patiently waiting for their new accommodation and one mum followed by 10 pups! Mamma Tiger Lilly of course was given the new area and she immediately accepted the 3 orphaned pups who happen to be of the same age as her own. Welcoming Tiger Lilly, Lana, Libra, Layla, Lillibeth, Lolita, Lancelot, London, Watson, Winona and Willow.

Polar Bears
They are the remaining members of a big group of 4 week old puppies who came in the shelter around spring as they were born from feral mums and the chances of them surviving in the streets were slim.
They were raised in the "hooman" living quarters of SAWALAND with lots of love from the team and the daily visitors.
And they were also taught "doggie rules" by the pack of oldies who live with us.
They are well socialized, enjoy walks, seize every chance to jump in the water and love the car, they are looking for their forever homes and their very own families...in return they offer their unconditional love, loyalty and gentle nature.

Goofys
The Goofys were born around October 1st, 2022. Their mother is a shy pointer girl who unfortunately has little trust in humans.
An attentive and kind island resident noticed the litter and informed Christina. Since the puppies were well-protected, and the lady provided food and fresh water for the mom, we left the puppies with their mother for as long as possible.
The gang is very friendly and open; they eagerly welcome every visitor and appreciate all the attention they receive.
They've been learning the ins and outs of being a dog from our older residents since day one.
It's heartwarming to witness how they integrate into the pack and confidently explore the world.
